Stef Clement
Since 2009 Stef Clement is part of the team. In the years before, he served the French Bouygues Telecom formation. During his career Clement claimed four national time trial titles. In 2007 he captured a medal in the Worlds time trial. In Stuttgart, Germany, he took bronze. It’s clear: Clement is a pure time trialist. Therefore the disappointment was big when during last season’s Vuelta a España he crashed in the forty kilometer long time trial from Cambados to Pontevedra. Partly because of this he was overlooked by national coach Leo van Vliet for the World Championships in Limburg. Thus Clement missed out on shining in front of his own people.
